Astrydill Incendiary Powder

The ripe fruits of the Astrydill still hold the fire that made its seed sprout. Dried and ground, they yield a russet powder that flares at the slightest shock. On its own, it burns fast and hot. Mixed with the right additives, it can smolder for hours, roar like a forge, or blow a door off its hinges. Still, one must know the proportions: it is wiser to leave the measuring to an alchemist, who will know how to get the desired effect. The reckless who try it alone tend to vanish mid-preparation, leaving little behind to bury.
