The heat still gets through."Ixzorath is an archeo-elemental, one of the very first spirits to cross over from the plane of fire (another world whose very matter is flame), long before mages learned to summon others. He sleeps at the heart of one of the greatest volcanoes in the world. Ordinary lava elementals stay bound to their pool and cool as soon as they leave it; Ixzorath carries his lava with him. Rock melts beneath his steps, the air burns twenty paces from him, and nothing that comes near keeps its shape for long.Appearance
You spot him. The heat arrives before he does. The air shimmers at the end of the tunnel, the water in the skins turns warm, and the metal of armor starts to bite the skin through the padding. Then he appears, as tall as three men, and the ground liquefies under each of his steps.When he rises. The lava lake swells at its center, then splits open. A head emerges, ember eyes, shoulders that keep on coming, and the heat hits you like the mouth of an open forge. He plunges a hand into the lava and draws it out closed around a still-liquid weapon, which sets into a blade before your eyes.Combat
How he fights. No one lasts long near him: the air there burns to breathe and metal scorches the bodies it covers. He strikes with the weapon he drew from the lava, and when it breaks, he forms another. Jets of lava burst from his hands and chest, and he hurls fire spells at anyone who stays out of reach.
How to fight him. Drawing him away from a pool is pointless: he melts the ground wherever he goes. Yet every weapon he forms and every spell he casts draws on his own heat: his crust thickens and blackens, his movements grow heavier. Stay outside his aura, force him to spend, and strike the cracks that still glow. The rare survivors mostly advise not being there when he rises.Ixzorath is a large humanoid fire elemental token or character asset depicting a towering molten creature composed of hardened volcanic rock and flowing lava, with glowing ember eyes and streams of fire emanating from its body. The figure stands on a cracked, liquefying stone surface within what appears to be a cavernous dungeon or volcanic chamber environment. This asset is suited for boss encounter scenarios involving fire elementals, volcano guardians, or ancient primordial spirits in fantasy tabletop RPG systems such as D&D 5e, Pathfinder, or OSR games. Compatible with major virtual tabletop platforms including Roll20, Foundry VTT, and Fantasy Grounds.
