How it fights. Its claw grips and squeezes without cutting. Once it has hold, it backs toward the water with all its mass. A few steps are enough: a wave high enough to cover a head, and it bears down on its prey until it stops moving. Its other claw sweeps aside anyone who comes near.
How to fight it. Its claw cannot be forced open. Get between it and the sea, because every step it loses toward land buys time for the one it holds. It walks sideways: break the legs on the seaward side and it turns in circles. It must stay wet to breathe. Kept away from the water, it tires and finally lets go.The Giant Breaker Crab, also known as the petrocarcin, is a massive crustacean token or encounter asset depicting a crab-like creature wider than a cart, covered in barnacles, with multiple forward-facing eyes, large gripping claws, and spiked shell segments, set against a rocky coastal shoreline at low tide. Its barnacle-encrusted carapace allows it to camouflage among coastal rocks, making it suited for ambush-style encounters on beach, tidal flat, or rocky coast battlemaps. This creature token is compatible with coastal wilderness, nautical, and survival horror RPG campaigns, and works across major virtual tabletop platforms including Roll20, Foundry VTT, and Fantasy Grounds. It is designed for use as a large or huge-sized hostile creature in encounters involving tidal mechanics, grapple-based combat, and environmental hazards near water.
