What the image hides: it is an eye, not a monster. Some necromancy tears it from a corpse, straps it onto legs that were never its own, and sends it out ahead of the army you cannot yet see. You do not see it. You hear it. A skittering on the stone, dry and even, no heavier than a rat working along a wall. A rat, you think. You settle back. Then, out of the dark, two green lights rise, fixed, set too high and too wide for any gutter beast. They hold you while your lamp climbs. And beneath those eyes, no rat: a dead face strapped into an oversized helm, drool running from its own fangs, hauled along on too many legs.The reckoning
The threat. It does not fight. It flees and it reports. Its only weapon is what it carries off: your position, your number, the weak point in your door. Let it slip away and you hand over the map of your night to whatever walks behind it. Quick, low to the ground, it knows the gaps you don't.The kill. Strike by sound, not by sight: the skittering gives it to you before your eyes do, so shroud your lamp and listen. If it fixes on you, do not meet its stare. Aim and crush. And count them, always: where one bolts, another was already watching.
SkitterSkull is a creature token depicting a disembodied undead skull mounted on spider-like legs and wearing a worn iron helm, with glowing green eyes and drool-covered fangs, set against a wet stone dungeon floor. This token represents a necromantic reconnaissance creature used as a scout or spy unit in dungeon-crawl encounters, suitable for horror, dark fantasy, and undead-themed campaigns. It fits stealth, ambush, or army advance scenarios where players must detect and eliminate enemy surveillance before being reported to an unseen commanding force. Compatible with major virtual tabletop platforms such as Foundry VTT, Roll20, and Fantasy Grounds.
