Wooden Stakes
It is the weapon of the poor and the desperate: a stick whittled to a point and hardened in the fire, something anyone can make in an evening. Against a vampire, though, it is enough, provided it reaches the heart. Not all woods are equal. It is said that wood grown within a sanctuary, in the shadow of an altar or beside a blessed spring, keeps something of the sacred magic that nourished it, and that a stake carved from its branches strikes harder than any other. No hunter can prove it. None of them cares to test the opposite.A set of wooden stakes token asset displayed on a worn wooden surface, including two sharpened and fire-hardened pointed stakes, one unfinished stake, and a small carving knife with wood shavings scattered nearby. The stakes show visible bloodstains on one tip, suggesting use in combat. This asset is suited for horror, gothic, and dark fantasy tabletop RPG encounters involving undead creatures such as vampires, and is compatible with virtual tabletop platforms including Foundry VTT, Roll20, and Fantasy Grounds as an item or inventory token.
