Dum-Kar, the Elixir of Purity

"At a Varn's table, every cup goes through the Dum-Kar."
What it is
A filter prepared by dwarven alchemists, its recipe passed from master to apprentice without ever being written down. The Varns (who govern the great dwarven cities) always keep some within reach, and in the great houses one servant's only duty is to pour a dose into every cup before it is served.
What it does
A single dose purifies any liquid of every form of poison. The liquid swirls suddenly at the bottom of the vessel, then after a second begins to boil; each bubble releases a red wisp that vanishes at once with a faint sting of sulfur. The drink's taste stays the same. The reaction is identical whether there was poison or not, so no one at the table knows whether anyone tried anything, and a dose can go into a guest's cup without accusing him of anything.

A glowing orange potion flask token named Dum-Kar, featuring engraved geometric facets, a dark metal stopper, rope binding, and a wrought iron chain, displayed on a stone pedestal within a Celtic-carved stone alcove. This item token is suitable for use as a cursed relic, magical artifact, or alchemical item in fantasy tabletop RPG encounters. Compatible with virtual tabletop platforms such as Foundry VTT, Roll20, and Fantasy Grounds, it fits dungeon, vault, or arcane laboratory scenes in systems like D&D 5e, Pathfinder, and OSR games.
