Ursa Lokh-Mund, the fervor that will not bend.
Every dwarf serves their Dürnskild around thirty-five: ten years in the mines, then the axe bearing their name. Ursa entered young and embraced it as a sacred oath, where the elders see only a rite to get through. That very fervor sets her against authority: she serves the cause, not the stripes, and bears it poorly when others treat as a chore what she holds to be holy.Describe her
What the image does not say: her Dürn axe bears her name engraved, and the law forbids selling it as it stands. Many melt theirs into ingots when their service ends. She kept hers, because to her it is no tool but her oath made visible. The misunderstanding that sums her up: people take for arrogance a loyalty too young, one that has not yet learned to choose its battles.
Play her
Play the friction, not gratuitous rebellion. She carries out a straight order without flinching, and balks sharply at one that betrays the spirit of the oath, sometimes wrongly. Give her a jaded elder to challenge, and watch her bristle that anyone would scorn what she reveres. She respects skill, never rank: earn her regard by the act, and she follows you into the fire.
What she says (rarely)
"Ten years underground, and you call it a chore? I swore an oath.""This axe bears my name. I won't melt it down, and I won't betray myself either."
"Rank is worn. Respect is earned."
