On deck, Brynja is the first to board and the last to come down from the shrouds. She was born Brynja Dunmaresh, into a lineage of the Hyperath (a rigorist dwarven sect that teaches there is nothing after death). She drew her own lesson from it: if there is only one life, the ten years of the Dürnskild (the mining rite every dwarf undertakes around thirty-five) are ten years stolen. She left the night before she was due to go down the mine. Her name now ends at Brynja. Every evening, she carves what she learned that day into a slat of her bunk.
Brynja is a dwarf female character token depicted in a combat-ready stance, wearing a leather belt and rust-red tunic, with braided hair and pointed ears, set against a carved stone archway background. This character represents a dwarf sailor or rogue-type NPC, suitable for maritime, port, or seafaring encounter scenarios. Compatible with major virtual tabletop platforms such as Roll20, Foundry VTT, and Fantasy Grounds, this token fits fantasy RPG systems including D&D 5e, Pathfinder, and similar rule sets. It can serve as a player character token, crew member NPC, or neutral contact in urban dockside or ship-based encounters.
