The Ordo Aurorae Temple of Valeford
At the far end of the square, the temple of the Ordo Aurorae rises in pale stone above the half-timbered rooftops, flanked by two slender towers whose spires reach for the sky. On the facade, a great golden sun blazes above the gilded doors, and higher still a vast window catches the daylight and casts it back across the whole square. Long crimson banners marked with the sun hang between the columns, and the frieze above the entrance bears the Order's motto, carved in stern letters: SOL LUCET OMNIBUS · NOS EJUS GLADII (the sun shines for all, we are its swords). Everywhere on the stone, light alone is honored, in suns, in rays, and in golden glass. At the foot of the steps, the market goes on with its ordinary noise, but passersby lower their voices a little as they cross the shadow of the towers. The Aurorae Temple battlemap depicts a large stone cathedral with tall spires, red banners, and a prominent sun medallion above its entrance, set within a bustling medieval city square surrounded by timber-framed buildings, market stalls, and NPC civilians. The scene is suitable for urban RPG encounters including religious faction quests, public ceremonies, city intrigue, or large-scale combat events. Compatible with virtual tabletop platforms such as Roll20, Foundry VTT, and Fantasy Grounds, this asset fits fantasy game systems including D&D 5e, Pathfinder, and similar medieval fantasy settings.
