The Silver Boar, the Hearth of the Peaks.
Temperament
The silver boar lives where the snow never melts, and up there every movement costs heat. So he wastes none: he walks slowly, sleeps a great deal, and watches the blizzard come without stirring a hair. His fur is so dense the wind cannot get in. Dwarves say he sleeps through half the winter, and outlives them all.Handling him
Never hurry him: a silver boar made to run for nothing stops dead and refuses to go on until he has caught his breath. Below the snow line, he pants and turns foul-tempered; take him down into the valleys only to bring him straight back up. Let him choose his pace, and he will always choose the one that gets you to the summit.Rewards
He eats almost nothing, and is proud of it. What he loves is warmth. A stone heated in the fire, slipped under his belly, and he closes his eyes in bliss. Two, and he follows you without a lead. Never refuse him one in the deep cold. He remembers. At the table
He senses a storm an hour before anyone else: when he stops to dig in, make camp. He rarely charges, but when he does, the whole mountain hears it. At night, he lies down across the bivouac entrance and the dwarves huddle against his flank to last the night, the warmest and surest hearth in all the mountains.A large armored boar token or character asset depicted standing on a snow-covered rocky mountain terrain, equipped with ornate plate and chainmail armor including a decorative saddle, shoulder guards, and a face plate with exposed tusks. This creature functions as a mount, beast companion, or enemy encounter token for tabletop RPG systems such as Dungeons & Dragons, Pathfinder, or Norse/Viking-themed campaigns. Compatible with virtual tabletops including Roll20, Foundry VTT, and Fantasy Grounds, it suits cold wilderness, mountain pass, or war encounters requiring a heavily armored beast unit.
