A lone goblin wins no fight, and that is why it is still here when all the rest is gone. A poor swordsman, it knows it: it never bets on the duel, but on the trap, the numbers, the turned back. Its true weapon is adaptation. It eats whatever it finds, nests anywhere, learns fast the fears of a land and the hour when the guards yawn. It breeds quickly, and a clan runs to fifty or a hundred head. Strength is what it lacks, so it takes on a creature that has some, a troll or an ogre, which it does not command but feeds, steers, and looses at the right moment. It never beats you. It wears you down.
The most respected caste, and the most intelligent, whatever the shamans may say. It never sets foot on ground it has not studied, and always covers its retreat with traps. A clan will save a tracker before a child: one more child is only one more goblin, while what a tracker knows keeps all the others alive. Bring one down, and the clan loses its eyes
A goblin tracker token depicted in a ruined stone dungeon environment, equipped with leather armor, a hand weapon, and a back quiver of javelins or spears, crouching in a combat-ready stance on wet stone steps. This character token is suited for ambush, wilderness scouting, and underground encounter scenarios in fantasy tabletop RPGs such as Dungeons & Dragons, Pathfinder, or similar systems. The goblin tracker functions as a skirmisher or elite enemy unit within goblin clan encounters, appropriate for low-to-mid tier adventuring parties. Compatible with major virtual tabletop platforms including Foundry VTT, Roll20, and Fantasy Grounds.
