Goblins, the Ones Who Wear You Down

"To their own, they are the Stock. Others call them the Spawn."

Every clan has its own ways and its own structure, but the same roles turn up among all goblins.

A lone goblin wins no fight, and that is why it is still here when all the rest is gone. A poor swordsman, it knows it: it never bets on the duel, but on the trap, the numbers, the turned back. Its true weapon is adaptation. It eats whatever it finds, nests anywhere, learns fast the fears of a land and the hour when the guards yawn. It breeds quickly, and a clan runs to fifty or a hundred head. Strength is what it lacks, so it takes on a creature that has some, a troll or an ogre, which it does not command but feeds, steers, and looses at the right moment. It never beats you. It wears you down.

A goblin archer token depicted in a snowy, blizzard-swept mountain environment, crouching low while drawing a shortbow with a quiver of arrows on its back. The creature wears a fur-lined hood and tattered winter gear, suggesting a cold-climate variant suited for arctic or tundra wilderness encounters. This character token is compatible with virtual tabletops such as Roll20, Foundry VTT, and Fantasy Grounds, and fits RPG systems including D&D 5e, Pathfinder, and OSR titles. Ideal for ambush scenarios, mountain pass encounters, or goblin warband encounters in winter settings.
