Stormedge, Dwarven Lightning Sword

"The blade is only half the weapon. The other half sleeps in the sheath, and it is the half that decides whether you live."Nothing remarkable in the metal: a good rock-iron blade, dressed in a rune of lightning. The word is exact. You clothe the blade in the rune the way you dress a body, and it then carries a power that is not its own.

Then there is the sheath, as precious as the weapon. Without it, the bound lightning does not hold: it seeks the air, and everything the air touches. The sheath keeps it asleep against matter. Drawing the blade wakes the rune; sheathing it puts the rune back to sleep. Lose one, and you have lost both.

Stormedge is a dwarven lightning sword token or prop asset depicting an ornate single-edged blade with glowing golden lightning effects along the fuller, paired with a matching engraved leather sheath featuring geometric dwarven knotwork and a belt strap. The crossguard and pommel display heavy brass or bronze fittings with a central gemstone setting, and the sheath's chape and locket are reinforced with matching metalwork. This asset is suited for use as a legendary weapon handout, inventory illustration, or loot token in fantasy tabletop RPG encounters involving dwarven lore, storm magic, or artifact-based storylines. Compatible with virtual tabletop platforms such as Roll20, Foundry VTT, and Fantasy Grounds for systems including D&D 5e, Pathfinder, and similar fantasy RPGs.
