Hoarfang, the White Breath

"When it leaves the scabbard, winter walks into the room."
What it is
A dwarven longsword whose Dürn blade sleeps beneath a crust of frost that never melts. The smith dressed it in cold runes down to the tang, and the stone set in the crossguard holds their key. It is said to have been forged in Khardum for the guards of the high passes, where stone and cold rise together. Drawn, it breathes out a freezing mist that rolls along the ground. Its thick leather scabbard, bound in brass, is there to keep that cold shut in.
What it does
Every blow carries frost into the wound: flesh turns white, fingers go numb, and a parry held too long leaves the enemy's steel stuck to the rime. Point it at a foe and say "Hrim": the mist tightens at the tip of the blade, hardens into a stalactite as long as a forearm, and flies straight at whoever the point names. The force travels locked inside the ice, the only way a dwarf will ever let a rune leave.

Hoarfang is a magical longsword token or prop asset depicting a two-handed blade enveloped in frost and swirling cold energy, paired with an ornate runic scabbard resting against a stone surface. The weapon features a decorated crossguard with Norse-inspired engravings and a wrapped leather grip, suggesting a frost or ice elemental enchantment. This asset is suited for use as an inventory item, legendary weapon prop, or interactive object token in fantasy RPG encounters involving cold-themed dungeons, Viking or Norse settings, or high-level loot discoveries. Compatible with virtual tabletop platforms such as Foundry VTT, Roll20, and Fantasy Grounds for D&D 5e, Pathfinder, or similar systems.
