The cuirass makes use of the hardest pieces of Lyrax leather. Well tanned, this hide can be built up into a breastplate, pauldrons, even tassets. It is work reserved for the surest hands, most often those of an orc tanner, for the material forgives neither a careless curing nor a hasty cut.What it does
It offers the resistance of a mail coat at the weight of plain leather. In a master's hands, the material is noble enough to receive an enchantment.
