The Godol Sigin

"The letter dies before it is read. The thief does not."
What it is
A leather satchel holding several parchment cases, each capped with a city's seal. It carries the correspondence of the Varns, those who rule the dwarven cities: one Varn writes to another, one missive per case, one city per recipient. When a dwarf crosses the courier who bears it, he steps aside and lowers his voice, for the state is passing.
What it does
Through it the cities speak, Varn to Varn, with no mouth left to repeat the word. Each case seals by rune and never otherwise; the seal names the hand that closed it, and it cannot lie. A sworn courier carries it from town to town, not knowing what he holds, with no right to open it.
What it costs
The seal's rune is one of fire, frost, or acid, and its craft is as old as it is proven. Try to tear it loose or undo it, and it triggers: it destroys case and missive alike, and marks the hand of whoever meddled with the seal.

A dwarven correspondence kit token or prop asset depicting a leather satchel open to reveal multiple scroll cases capped with ornate sigils, accompanied by a quill, inkwell, wax-sealed parchment scrolls, and a runic tablet on a stone surface. The set suits secret communication, political intrigue, and diplomatic encounter scenes within dwarven or underground city settings. Compatible with fantasy RPG systems such as D&D 5e, Pathfinder, or any game featuring dwarven factions, courier mechanics, or trapped document interactions. Ideal for virtual tabletop platforms including Foundry VTT, Roll20, and Fantasy Grounds as a handout, inventory prop, or encounter item.
