Glödnarg, the Fists That Won't Let Go

"Fire never asks permission to burn."
What they are
Nothing sets them apart from ceremonial gauntlets, until the pale veins in the metal start to glow red. Forged to channel the rage of the Ravagers, they hold a part of the Ember-Son's flame bound in the metal, rather than letting it escape into the air.
What they do
Every blow struck in full rage releases the heat locked inside the metal into a strike strong enough to shatter a whole guard. The fiercer the wearer's anger, the harder the fist strikes, with no difference made between the intended enemy and whatever stands around him.
What they cost
Every unleashed strike demands an effort of will to keep from landing another: the rage does not fade on its own, it must be held back. That effort grows harder with each strike in the same fight. Worn alone, the gauntlets settle with rest. Worn with the rest of the regalia, they no longer do.

Glödnarg is a pair of heavy armored gauntlets covered in segmented dark metal plates etched with runic hexagonal sigils, with glowing orange-red lava-like cracks running through the surface and an illuminated rune emblem centered on each knuckle guard. The item is presented against a carved stone and iron-framed background. This asset functions as an inventory item, equipment card, or token for tabletop RPG systems such as D&D 5e, Pathfinder, or Norse/dark fantasy settings, suited to encounters involving berserker warriors, fire-based magic items, or dwarven artifact lore. Compatible with virtual tabletop platforms including Foundry VTT, Roll20, and Fantasy Grounds as a loot handout or character equipment visual.
