Two twin pistols, one for each hand, never one without the other. You load them almost the way you'd pray: powder, primer, the motions any shooter's hand knows by heart. But no ball drops down the barrel, and that emptiness weighs strangely in the hand. The runes cut along the barrel do the rest, gathering the whole blast into a single fist.What they do
The enemy is on the ground before he knows how he got there. Everything spins, a vast pressure crushes his chest, and his hand goes searching for blood out of reflex. There is no blood. Nothing went in. There is only a huge impact that has driven his breastplate into his ribs. Drûn and Varkarûn do not fire bullets. They fire shockwaves, and that is far worse.What they cost
The recoil kicks like a mule. To fire is to take as much as you deal. Two iron fists barely hold these beasts, and the arm too soft pays at once: wrist wrenched, shoulder torn from its socket.
