An axe whose edge glows like an ember. Forged into the steel is the powder of a phoenix tongue, and it is this that sings. At every strike the weapon lets out a shrill scream that carries far and freezes those who hear it. Many break at the cry before they ever see the blade.What it does
Every wound it opens hands it the rage of the one it strikes. The axe drinks it, and the opponent, drained of fury, falls back little by little behind his guard, while the bearer gains in speed what the other loses in anger. The effect is devastating and short-lived: a few exchanges, and it fades. Against one who masters his anger, a seasoned monk or an old soldier, it finds nothing to drink.What it costs
What it drinks, it gives back to the bearer. Fed on too much rage, the axe demands to strike again, and the bearer needs all his will to stop when the fight is over.
