Sir Leo Alcott, the Little Gentleman

Leo is the grandson of Sir Sigurd II Alcott, Count of Louan. He learned to read from the scrolls that record the great deeds of the ancestor, the first Sigurd, one of the counts who founded the kingdom. His grandfather knighted him long before the proper age, because an Alcott without a title struck him as indecent. Leo took it seriously. He wants to be the Alcott of the scrolls, and he already knows that no grown-up in his family is, his grandfather least of all.

Describe him
A boy barely out of childhood bows to you, hand on heart, exactly as they teach it at court. His clothes are too fine for the mud of the street, and he steps around every puddle. He greets you as “my lord” or “my lady,” whether you hold a title or not, and he waits for your name before giving his own. His voice hasn’t finished breaking. When he doesn’t know what to say, he stands up straighter.
Play him
Make him polite to the point of absurdity. He asks permission to sit, thanks the stable boy, and remembers every servant’s name so he can use it the next time. He has a grown man’s manners, but he is still a child curious about everything: he wants to see the sword, the wound, the map. Faced with a rude noble, he corrects the etiquette in one calm sentence, without raising his voice, and that is worse than shouting. All along, he is looking for a grown-up who resembles the scrolls, and he might well find one in the party.
What he says (rarely)
“The ‘Sir’ was my grandfather’s idea. Please, call me Leo.”
“Forgive me, my lord, but one does not speak to a lady that way.”
(quietly, eyes on your sword) “Have you ever fought for someone who wasn’t paying you?”

Sir Leo Alcott is a young male NPC token depicting a boy in chainmail shoulders, a green tunic, leather belt, and a sword strapped to his back, set against a stone archway backdrop. This character token is suited for medieval fantasy RPG encounters involving noble households, political intrigue, coming-of-age storylines, or quest-giving roles within a court or city setting. Compatible with virtual tabletop platforms such as Roll20, Foundry VTT, and Fantasy Grounds, this token fits systems like D&D 5e, Pathfinder, and other fantasy RPGs requiring young noble or squire NPCs. The character's armed but formally dressed appearance makes him usable as a minor noble, a herald, or an unexpected ally in low to mid-level campaigns.
