The Buzzard, the Patient One
It waits, perched for hours on a fence post or a dead branch, until something moves in the grass, and something always ends up moving. Above the group, it turns in wide circles without ever straying too far, and its plaintive cry carries a long way. The day that cry stops short, look where it has landed.A buzzard token depicted with wings spread and beak open, perched on a wooden lectern or stand inside a stone hall with gothic arched windows visible in the background. This animal companion or familiar token is suited for use as a wildlife encounter element, scout bird, or NPC companion in fantasy tabletop RPG sessions. Compatible with major virtual tabletop platforms such as Roll20, Foundry VTT, and Fantasy Grounds, it fits medieval fantasy, dark fantasy, and low-magic campaign settings.
