A cave-dwelling creature, over ten feet tall, likely the strongest of its family and certainly the most brutish: most of them have nothing but grunts. The cold accounts for both. It made him enormous, and it slowed everything else down, his speech along with his flesh. His hide calcifies as the years pass, so that an old troll carries on his back a crust of stone no blade will bite. They say some of them handle crude weapons. Someone would first have to forge one to his measure.
How he fights. Strength, and nothing besides. He throws rocks while you are far off, he strikes the moment you are not, and a badly worn harness comes out of those blows shaped like a pie dish. He does not dodge and has never had to.
How to fight him. What you know about trolls will kill you here. This one paid for his armor with his healing: what little regeneration he has left went into the hide, which thickens and hardens year after year until an old back is rock that nothing gets through. A poor bargain for him, since his wounds add up instead of vanishing, and he is the only one of his family who can be worn down. So you must last a long time and strike seldom, which is the opposite of what fear tells you. Never go for the back. Go where he bends, the armpits and the hocks, because stone only grows where nothing moves.
The Snow Troll is a large humanoid creature token depicting a massive, white-furred troll in an aggressive crouching posture, set against a blizzard-swept mountain background with ice and snow. The creature stands over ten feet tall with a calcified, stone-like hide, prominent fangs, and clawed hands, making it suitable for boss encounters in arctic, mountain, or cave-based scenarios. This token is compatible with virtual tabletop platforms such as Foundry VTT, Roll20, and Fantasy Grounds, and fits RPG systems including D&D 5e, Pathfinder, and other fantasy or horror genres requiring powerful cold-environment adversaries.
